About
Dynamics and Combinatorial Structures in Algorithmic Game Theory (DYCOSAGT) is a Horizon Europe MSCA Staff Exchanges project (grant agreement No 101297968) running from 1 September 2026 to 31 August 2030, coordinated by Charles University.
Recent years have seen rapid growth in the use of algorithmic game theory across a wide range of disciplines: fairness optimization, autonomous multi-agent systems, dynamics of potential games, market mechanisms, and machine learning approaches to equilibrium computation. These applications are increasingly connected with advanced methods from mathematics, optimization, computer science and numerical simulation.
International staff mobility between the partners is the central pillar of the project. It involves established researchers in mathematics, computer science and economics, with a strong emphasis on training the next generation of scientists through collaboration and knowledge exchange.
Work packages
- WP1 — Optimization of Security, Control and Logistics: development of tools for optimization in multi-agents games, concentrating on security, control and logistics
- WP2 — Markets and Optimization of Fairness: development of tools for socio-economic and for optimization of fairness
- WP3 — Developing Machine Learning: development of Machine Learning approaches for Algorithmic Game Theory
- WP4 — Training: staff training activities
- WP5 — Dissemination, exploitation and communication
- WP6 — Management
Lineage
DYCOSAGT builds on two previous European initiatives coordinated by Charles University: the Horizon 2020 MSCA RISE project CoSP (Combinatorial Structures and Processes) and the Horizon Europe WIDERA ERA Chair project AGATE (Algorithmic Game Theory in Socio-economics).
